I handle loan document signings across Western Maine as a Certified Notary Signing Agent - refinances, purchases, sellers' packages, HELOCs, and reverse mortgages. I meet borrowers where it works for them: home, office, or a care facility.

Final fee quoted per assignment - based on distance, package size, and scanback requirements. Fees are confirmed in writing when the assignment is accepted.
For borrowers
If your lender or title company scheduled me for your signing, there is nothing you need to pay me directly - my fee is part of your closing. Have a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID for every signer, and do not sign anything before the appointment. Plan on 45 minutes to an hour for a typical package.
As a signing agent I can identify each document and point to where it is signed, but I cannot explain loan terms or give legal advice - questions about your loan go to your lender or closing agent.
